Susie has a large library of garden images

Originally trained at Oxford’s Ruskin School of Drawing, Susie has a background in fine art. Her work - mainly drawings and linocuts - has been seen in several group exhibitions, but she loves the immediacy of taking photographs. Her own garden provides year-round inspiration for plant portraits and combinations, wildlife and seasonal atmosphere. From the flower garden to vegetables, mini meadows to flower filled containers, woodlanders to unusual perennials, there’s plenty to supply images to accompany her garden articles.

Susie has a large library of photographs taken in a wide variety of gardens, especially in the north of England. In 2019 she photographed gardens around West Sweden and the gardeners working in them, harvesting vegetables for the restaurants at castles and country houses.
